We hold monthly general meetings on the last Thursday of the month, usually starting at 7pm. Throughout lockdown, we have had to carry on with online meetings and are currently using the Google Meet service. All eligible members will receive an invite by email with a link and meeting code. The link normally takes you direct to the meeting, but some members have found that they need to go to https://meet.google.com/ and enter the code.
We do recognise that public meetings can sometimes be stressful for people who are not used to them. We try to maintain a professional but friendly atmosphere. We do ask that members follow instructions from the chair person, and that if you wish to speak, raise your hand so that other members can see. You may also say the word "chair" or similar phrase. Please do not try to speak over other members, and we reserve the right to "mute" and even "remove" members who are disrespectful.
We usually follow an agenda that will be published in advance of the meeting. If you would like to discuss a particular topic, then drop the chair an email using the contact link below and explain what you would like to discuss. We also have an AOB item and always try to talk about each item that has been raised.
We cannot discuss individual people or other items which may not comply with the current data protection and GDPR laws.
The meeting notes are usually available a few days after the meeting.
